The famous Bubble Room restaurant located in Captiva Island, Florida.
Featured in Eye on Fine Art Photography
The Bubble Room was born in 1979 on its present site on Captiva Island. The world famous restaurant that it is today followed a very modest beginning of just a few tables in the front room of the home of the Farqhuarson family. Todays famous multi- theme restaurant slowly took shape. Starting with old toys from the 1930s and 1940s as its decor in the one room, the collecting began and has continued to the present day.
Many of the original items are still seen here today along with the moving trains now on all three floors added for kids (of all ages). Popular with the many visiting stars of cinema in its early years, photographs soon began to adorn the walls and grew to the profusion of old idols and scenes from the big screen, now seen around you on every available wall space. I am a 50 something year old Mother of 4 and Grandmother of 7. I am fortunate to be happily married to my best friend. We live in Florida and spend as much time as we can traveling around this beautiful state on our Harley. I love to take pictures of all the places we�ve been and all the cool things we get to see. My Husband bought me a Sony Nex camera for Christmas and it has now become my favorite past time to see what I can capture with it. Of course my favorite things to take pictures of are my beautiful Grandchildren.
